ABOUT US
TLLCC STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe the Holy Scriptures to be the inspired Word of God in its entirety, sixty-six books composing the Old and New Testament, given to man as the final authority for life and faith.
(2 Tim 3:16; Mat 5:18; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Hebrews 4:12; Luke 24:27; Joshua 1:8; Psalm 119:105; 19:7; 2 Peter 3:15-16)
SALVATION
We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but that in Adam’s sin the race fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God, and that man is totally depraved and thus, of himself, utterly unable to remedy his lost condition, and therefore in need of salvation.
We believe that salvation is by grace alone and through faith in Jesus Christ alone. We believe that through the working of the Holy Spirit a man is born again, and therefore is able to repent of his sins and believe in Christ Jesus as his Savior. He thus becomes a regenerated man, indwelt by the Holy Spirit, and no longer conforms to the pattern of this world but now sets his mind on the things of the Spirit.

THE TRINITY
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – co-eternal in being, co-identical in nature, co-equal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfections.

GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer and baptizes all believers into the body of Christ. We believe He is the source of all power and acceptable worship and service.
(John 14:16-17; 16:7-15; Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 6:19; 12:12-13)
We also believe in the necessity of the empowering of the Holy Spirit for service as a second work of the Holy Spirit involving the exercise and on certain occasions the manifestations of spiritual gifts.
(John 20:21-23; Acts 1:8; 2:4; 8:12-17; 19:1-7)
We further believe that every Christian must open himself to a continual infilling of the Holy Spirit to receive a steady outpouring of that which will enable him to meet the varied challenges of daily living.

JESUS CHRIST THE SON OF GOD
We believe that God’s eternal Son became man without ever shedding His divinity. We believe that He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary with the mission of revealing the very person of God and redeeming mankind from the curse of sin.
(John 1:1-2, 14; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 9:6-7)
We believe that the redemption of mankind was accomplished by Jesus Christ through His death on the cross as payment for man’s sin and that our justification was fulfilled through His literal physical resurrection from the dead.
(1 Peter 1:3-5, 2:24; Ephesians 1:7; Romans 3:24-25)
We believe that Christ ascended to heaven and presently lives and reigns at the right hand of the Father to fulfill the ministry of Advocate, Intercessor, and High Priest.
(Acts 1:9-11; Hebrews 7:25, 9:24; Romans 8:34; 1 John 2:1-2)
We believe in the promise of Christ to return for His bride, the Church, and the promise that the dead in Christ will be resurrected and those alive will be translated into a glorious state. This great event will be followed by the establishment of Christ’s glorious kingdom on earth for one thousand years in fulfillment of the promises to Israel.
THE CHURCH, CHRIST’S BODY
We believe that by the Holy Spirit all believers in Christ are baptized into one spiritual body and is represented by the establishment and ministry of local churches where the ordinances of water baptism and the Lord’s Supper are observed and where the spiritual gifts are exercised as a scriptural means for the testimony and edification of the Church in this age.

THE GREAT COMMISSION
We believe that all born again believers have the responsibility to carry the explicit message of salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ as pilgrims, ambassadors, and witnesses to all the corners of the world.

THE RESURRECTION
We believe that the saved to eternal life will be bodily resurrected, and the unsaved shall be judged with everlasting punishment.

Our vision for every believer committed to TLLCC is:

Matthew 28:19-20 NIV Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, (20) and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Colossians 3:16 NIV Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.
To see our members growing in their understanding of the gospel of Jesus Christ, that they may be deeply rooted in Him.

To see our members full of the Spirit and wisdom, walking with the fruit of the Spirit, that they may love and serve one another in the church.
Acts 6:3 NIV Brothers, choose seven men from among you who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will turn this responsibility over to them
Galatians 5:16-17 NIV So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. (17) For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want.
Ephesians 5:18 NIV Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.
To see older generations teaching and discipling younger generations, passing on what they have received and learned from God’s Word.
Deuteronomy 11:18-19 NIV (18) Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. (19) Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

Titus 2:2-4 NIV Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance. Titus 2:6 NIV Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled.
Our Mission
By the grace of God[5], in full dependence on the power of the Holy Spirit[6], and with pure devotion to our Lord Jesus Christ[7],
We will worship and glorify the Lord[8] in all our ministries, activities and lives;
We will be witnesses[9] to all men of the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ, and of the holy life that He is worthy of;
We will make disciples[10] of all who commit to our church through the correct teaching and preaching of God’s Word;
We will build up one another[11] through prayer[12], biblical fellowship[13], serving one another[14] and loving one another just as Jesus loved us[15].

Core Value
- We value the biblical gospel, the right understanding and application as taught in Scripture.
- We value the pure and unadulterated Word of God, as the source of life, wisdom, doctrine, and the sound preaching and teaching of it in all our services and ministries and fellowships.
- We value the spiritual disciplines of a believer’s life – prayer as personal devotion to our Lord, and the reading, meditation, study and application of the Word of God.
- We value intercessory prayer as an expression of our total trust in our God for our church and it’s ministries.

- We value worship, both as a believer’s way of life and as expressed through God-centered songs in our worship services.
- We value the work of the Holy Spirit in His empowering, leading and gifting of believers in life and service.
- We value biblical fellowship, to encourage and build up one another in the local church.
- We value the biblical standard and practice of church leadership, as seen in the appointing of elders and deacons according to biblical qualifications, submission to these leaders, and church discipline. We also value the biblical concept of being accountable to one another in life and doctrine.
